At Berry Lumber, we’re more than just a lumber yard. We’re your neighbor, your go-to supplier, and your project partner.
We’ve been here on Auburn Boulevard in Sacramento for over 15 years now, and if you’ve ever driven by, you’ve probably seen the forklifts buzzing around, stacks of lumber piled high, and a steady stream of contractors and DIYers rolling through. That’s our happy place. We’ve built our business around making it easy for folks to get in, get what they need, and get back to building.
Berry Lumber is part of the Berco Redwood family, a homegrown company that started in 1982 with one simple goal: help people build better decks and fences. Over the years, Berco grew, and in 2008, we expanded across the street to open Berry Lumber. That gave us the room—and the inventory—to support everything from backyard makeovers to full-on home construction.
And we haven’t stopped growing since.
We believe in doing things the right way. That means giving you solid materials at a fair price, being honest if something’s out of stock, and helping you load up your truck when you're in a rush. Our team knows the difference between a 2x4 and a 2x6 without blinking, and we’re always happy to walk the yard with you if you’re not sure what you need.
Some of our customers are pros who know exactly what they want. Others are weekend warriors figuring it out as they go. Either way, you’re welcome here.
At the end of the day, it’s about how you treat people.
We’re not a giant chain with call centers and red tape. We’re a local yard with real folks who pick up the phone, remember your name, and genuinely want to help. When you pull in, someone’s already on the way with a forklift. When you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers. Or we’ll walk the yard with you until we figure it out together.
Whether you're a contractor on your fifth job of the week or a homeowner tackling your first fence, we’ve got your back. People keep coming back because they know we care—and because it just feels good to shop somewhere that gets it.
Next time you're driving by, stop by. Check out our new showroom. Walk the yard and ask questions with our staff. Or, just hang out and talk shop for a while, we don't mind. And if you can't make it in person, give us a call or take a virtual tour of our yard and showroom.
Thank you for being a neighbor, and for being a customer. We're here to help with whatever project is next.
